Cottage Tiny House Garden at Sunset painting by Cassie K

Over the weekend, I painted this quaint cottage in the woods at sunset. I want to live here!
Another painting I done was my first nude painting. If you want to see that one, you can click the links at the bottom of the page of this post and click on the left button that says "newer post."

Cob homes (mud/all natural housing sculptures & art)

In case you're not familiar with cob homes, they are made of clay soil (mud), straw, and sand mixed together to form globs of "cob". This cob material is layered like a piece of pottery/ceramic sculpture. The appeal of cob homes are the organic, free-flowing, artistic designs, these homes are environmentally sustainable because they are made of free and all natural, readily provided materials. For more information on cob homes, go to some of my posts here:  COB BUILDING (Straw, clay, & Sand for building DREAM EARTH HOME), Constructing our own home: cob building, homesteading, & free material. To see my design for my own cob home, go to the link here: TINY Cob home layout.

Below are examples of the artistic work people have created using cob to build their homes.
