Some interesting drawings of characters, scenes, & still life from 2013-2015

I was looking through some of my sketch books from 2013 and 2014, and I wanted to share some of the drawings I found. I know I have posted probably all of these drawings on here or on my deviantart page, but these drawings stood out to me the most. One particularly stood out to me of the drawings of Trailer Park Boys TV Show characters because this week one of the people died. The drawing of an old man's head in this picture, known as Jim Lahey, has passed.

Ink drawings of The L Word characters

The L Word was a television series on Showtime that portrays the lives of a Lesbian community in Los Angeles. Below I have presented some sketches of a few of the characters. In the future, maybe I will draw more of the characters to add to this post.

Katherine Moenning aka "Shane"

These were drawn in the last few days, but they are poorly drawn. Actually the Jenny drawing seen below was ruined when I put a sharpie to the previous page(not that it looked any better anyway.)

Self portrait etching, sketches, & painting

Artists like Van Gogh, Degas, Rembrandt, Picasso, Frida Kahlo often painted self-portraits, each of which used their own unique style to portray themselves.

The first self-portrait below, is an etching on Clay board created in 2006 or 2007, dimensions of 8x10 inches. Can you tell I was wearing a "Beatles" t-shirt?

Here I have presented some sketches of myself from 2010, when I was 20 years old, sophomore in college.

The 2007 Self portrait below titled "Banana Girl" was created with Acrylic paint on 8x10 inch canvas.

The 2007 self portrait has dimensions of 12x18 inches, using acrylic paint on canvas/board.
