Lighthouse Ocean painting by Cassandra "Cassie" Kinney

This is the 2 paintings put together; I hadn't put finishing touches on them yet...

Winter landscape looking out the window by CK

I painted this winter scene looking out of the window. It's an idea I took from Bobb Ross. It's a really messy painting, but I'm going to fix it. I didn't realize the smudge marks until I took a picture of the painting.

Winter stroll at sunset acrylic painting & Cabin in the Mountains by CK

I painted these a couple days before Xmas, and gifted the first to my Aunt, uncle and cousin. The second was to my grandmother and grandfather.
The second winter scene chills you to the bone looking at it, but the first is a warm winter scene that makes you feel good. Enjoy!

I will have to retake this pic sjnce it's too blurry to see details

Cardinals in the Fall Pines by CK

I painted this landscape of birch, ornamental pear, cardinals a while back. I love the combination of colors--honestly, I don't think I'm going to sell or gift this painting...I'm going to keep it for myself.

Holiday gift painting "Backyard flower garden" by CK

Hey, everyone. I'm still making holiday gifts. This painting isn't really a gift I'm personally giving, but I'm getting paid to make this for someone else to give as a gift.
I made another painting which I will show you in my next post. Of course, you can always look at all my paintings at my Deviantart and tumblr pages.

Cottage Tiny House Garden at Sunset painting by Cassie K

Over the weekend, I painted this quaint cottage in the woods at sunset. I want to live here!
Another painting I done was my first nude painting. If you want to see that one, you can click the links at the bottom of the page of this post and click on the left button that says "newer post."

Winter (Bob Ross inspired) Painting + other art gifts painted by Cassie Kinney

by Cassie Kinney

I didn't take a picture of the additional birdhouse I painted but here are pictures of one of the birdhouses I painted. For the holidays, I painted both grandmothers a birdhouse. The cardinal winter painting was painted on a wood pallet. I gave this painting to my father for the holidays. The winter landscape painting was inspired by Bob Ross. I have enjoyed the many Bob Ross episodes I have been watching lately. You can also watch Bob Ross episodes on Youtube and Netflix. I am continually inspired by the artist, and feel that he has improved my paintings skills in just a matter of days! I want to continue to paint his style from now on when I do landscapes. His technique is easy and beautiful.

Paintings by Cassie Kinney

Here are the paintings I done for family. I'm satisfied with most of them, and I am especially proud of the landscape painting of different deciduous trees.
